Game of the Year Edition
In June 2012, Tru Blu Entertainment released an updated version of the game called AFL Live: Game of the Year Edition, which included roster updates and other changes for the 2012 AFL Premiership Season. For owners of the standard AFL Live package, Tru Blu released a downloadable update which would add the features of the Game of the Year edition for a reduced fee (880 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360 (about $AU14.65), $AU14.95 on PlayStation Network).
Despite this being named the Game of the Year edition, AFL Live did not actually garner any game of the year awards.
