It has been a long time since we’ve done one of these posts, and I have not paid any attention to the market for video games older than the Wii in that space of time. However, I am not surprised by the sheer greed that is going on. We still target listings that are complete in box unless stated otherwise.
Auction Watch Archive
NES Top Loader (3-in-1 cart version) – Sans 3-in-1 cart, amusingly.
Soundic Victory MPT-02 Home TV Programmer – complete but faulty
Back for another round.
PlayStation Console in branded briefcase – These were used for rentals when the machine first landed – though I think this one is missing some internal foam.
Light Crusader and Fantastic Dizzy/Rocket Knight Adventures 2-Pack (Mega Drive) – Two of Ozisoft’s weird VHS case releases
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (Nintendo 64) – Listing this here more for the lulz, don’t pay $300 for Kirby’s most mediocre outing.
Dancing Stage: Mario Mix (GameCube) – Local pickup in Ryde, NSW only.
Saturn Bomberman (Saturn) – Looks like significant damage to the rear of the case
Boxed/Complete Game Gear w/ 7 loose games – No mention of sound issues so caveat emptor
Boxed/Complete Silver Slim PlayStation 2 – Complete with mediocre platinum games
Boxed/Complete Silver Slim PlayStation 2 – Another one
Busy week for Nintendo 64 stuff.
ICO Collector's Edition (PlayStation 2) – New and sealed
Star Wing SNES Bundle – Sunfaded in several spots.
Special Pikachu Edition Game Boy Color w/ Pokemon Silver and Crystal – Also includes a cart only copy of Red and a Gold/Silver playguide
Kind of a crappy week.
Paper Mario (N64) – More N64 auction idiocy.
Sega Saturn – Apparently new in box.
WarCraft Battle Chest – This is the original release
3 x HES games for NES – Sidewinder, Duck Maze and Arctic Adventure – Soft plastic case versions. No manuals, though.
NES game bundle with Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse – Seller doesn’t specify which games have manuals, so ask first.
NES game bundle with Ufouria, Duck Maze, Arctic Adventure – Again, seller hasnt said which ones have manuals. HES games are the cardboard versions.
Mario Paint (SNES) – Might just be my shitty eyes, but the rear of the box looks a little sunfaded
Some good – and affordable – stuff this week.
Wario Land III (Game Boy Colour) – This is a buy it now, but there are apparently two available, and $35 is good for a new first party GBC game.
Game Boy Gallery 4 (Game Boy Colour) – Same as above, new and $35 buy it now
Rockman Collection (PlayStation NTSC-J) – A high price but a cool set
Daze Before Christmas (Mega Drive) – Best condition copy I’ve seen.
GameCube Bulk Lot – Doesnt specify if manuals are present, but lot includes Super Smash Bros Melee, Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, Mario Kart Double Dash, Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2, F-Zero GX, Resident Evil 4 and more.
PlayStation with Rental Case – Havent seen one of these in nearly 10 years
A triumphant return?
Nintendo 64 Grape Purple Console – Has a tear on one side.
Boxed Colecovision Atari Expansion Module – Box is damaged
Snowboard Kids 2 (Nintendo 64) – Another illustration of how ridiculous the Nintendo 64 scene is getting
Night Trap (32X CD) – A nice curio but not at that price
